Hope this letter finds you blessed. You know, the greatest gift God gives is love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but regoices with the truth. It alaways protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." I Cor. 13:4-7. We think we love someone in our own strength. It has to ocme from God. No, we are not perfect. There is only one perfect person and that was Jesus Christ. We strive to be like Jesus each day. We will not get there but at least we try and the Lord sees that and that is where your blessings come from. "But now abide faith, hope, love these three: but the greatest of these is love." I Cor. 13:13. It is a gift, receive it freely.
In June, we lost a dear friend of ours, Justin Ferrell, who was stepped on by a bull. Justin was 15 years old and gave his life to the Lord 2 years ago. Please keep his family in our prayers. Also, in calf riding, Calvin Rogers chin was cut 3 layers by a calf's hoof. He had 34 stitches and doing well. Praise God.
At the last CTYRA rodeo, there were a few minor mishaps, but everyone is doing okay. At the Church Service, we had 1 person give their life to the Lord. Also, we had testimonies given. The Lord is really working in peoples lives, (because they are letting Him).
The June Cowboy Church Meeting at our home was very successful. The Holy Spirit showed up and we had a good time and fellowship in the Lord. One person received Jesus as their personal Savior.
